2020 Chardonnay, Margaret River $40.00
Current Release95 Points – James Halliday Wine Companion
“The 2020 vintage was warm and low yielding, which has led to a tranche of wines that are powerful, concentrated and scarce. This is no exception. Fresh pineapple, yellow peach, red apples and a smattering of curry leaf gives us this salty, rich and racy little number. Classy to the very end of its long finish.” Erin Larkin.
The inspiration for this wine is easy. Chardonnay loves Margaret River, and Margaret River loves Chardonnay. Our love for local Chardonnay is unconditional, and with love comes great respect. Respect for Margaret River as one of the best locations to grow Chardonnay in Australia. Respect for the individual traits of the differing Chardonnay clones grown in the region, and the subtle variance of terroir. Respect for the critical role of winemaking in shaping great fruit into brilliant Chardonnay.
Our previous Chardonnays have often been a blend of vineyards, clones and even different sub regions of Margaret River. This vintage, we chose to produce our first single vineyard Chardonnay to specifically showcase the subregion of Yallingup, and the Gingin clone.
The 2020 Chardonnay is a contemporary Margaret River Chardonnay with a classical edge.

2020 Field Blend, Margaret River $25.00
Current Release94 Points – Halliday Wine Companion
“It is difficult to draw the line between varieties once this aromatic and layered skin-contact wine is in the mouth, but it ceases to matter when the fruits cascade over one another creating a tidal wave of flavour. Kept in check by chalky phenolics and salty acid, this seems like a pretty perfect summer seafood wine.” Erin Larkin
The ‘Fieldie’ is a skin contact Semillon Sauvignon Blanc field blend (sourced from our organically grown Wallcliffe Vineyard), with a few other friends including Chenin Blanc, Riesling and Arneis. 50% of the fruit went to oak barrels and 50% to tank, where it was matured for 7 months.
This is a perfumed and aromatically focussed wine with a gentle hint of natural reductive tones. In short…. aromatic, vibrant and structured.

2021 Sangiovese, Margaret River $35.00
Current ReleaseAgain, we continue to the challenge the norm for expected varietals grown within the Margaret River region by producing our third vintage of Sangiovese. Although our vintage in Tuscany seems like a distant past memory, the taste of a great Chianti is still very fresh in our minds and although we are not trying to replicate a Chianti, we are drawing on the traditional techniques we acquired from our time in Tuscany and putting our new world, Margaret River contemporary spin on the varietal.
This is a rare Margaret River expression of this variety and made in tiny amounts. Our Sangiovese aims to showcase a fruit forward wine with present tannins and great natural acidity. By embracing carbonic maceration our Sangiovese earns the title of ‘Juicy Banger’ and is the perfect fresh, juicy wine to go with friends and food.

‘Miscela’ (Tempranillo Cab Sauv), Western Australia $30.00
Current Release90 Points – James Halliday Wine Companion
A magical blend (‘miscela’ in Italian) of vintages, regions and varietals. This is our take on a red blend, and made up of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. This multi varietal, multi regional, and multi vintage wine is a combination of warmer climate Geographe & Margaret River fruit, and spans 2018, 2019 & 2020 vintages. We wanted to present a food focused, savoury wine with some moreish dusty tannins.
The opportunity and freedom to be able to play with a blend of varietals over three different vintages and two different regions created so many options and possibilities. The ability to present a fresh new vintage varietal with an aged varietal presented us with flavours and structure we haven’t been able to achieve in the past.
Savoury. Earthy. Balanced

2021 Pinot Noir, Pemberton $35.00
Current Release2021 marks our forth vintage of making Pinot Noir. After previously making Pinot Noir sourced from a vineyard in Manjimup, this year whilst staying within the Southern Forests region, we have sourced fruit from Pemberton. This decision allowed us access to two different clones of Pinot Noir to play with – 114 and 115. Whilst getting to know this fruit we blended the two blocks of clones together to with the aim of producing a delicate and joyful expression of Pinot Noir in a light, bright, savoury style.

2020 Nebbiolo, Margaret River $50.00
Current Release93 Points – James Halliday Wine Companion
This is a rare expression of Margaret River Nebbiolo due to the relative scarcity of the variety within the region and our aim was to showcase the high-toned brightness and vibrancy of fruit whilst still integrating complexity and interest through structure and developed tannins to create an earlier, approachable Nebbiolo thoughtfully balanced with sweetness, savouriness and ultimately freshness.

2020 Super Margs, Margaret River $50.00
Current Release94 Points – Halliday Wine Companion
“Sweet and juicy fruit upfront in a typically Australian way: glossy, juicy, bouncy and right behind the teeth. The prodigious (yet fine) tannins follow up right behind it, drawing out the fruit into a long finish.” Erin Larkin
Our 2020 ‘Super Margs’ draws influence from the highly sought after and respected Super Tuscan wines of Italy, which are made from non-indigenous varieties. After patiently waiting vintage after vintage for Sangiovese fruit, and having finally secured high quality fruit going forward, we decided to make a diversion from the regionally popular Cabernet Merlot blend and instead create a French Italian influenced, modern style wine – Sangiovese Cabernet.
The ripe fruit of the Cabernet Sauvignon provides richness and flavour, while the Sangiovese provides youthfulness, aromatics and overall acid to the blend. This wine is a little heavier than a medium bodied wine and shows off some great fruit and well-integrated tannins.
